The split between Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry has made headlines, and Miranda Kerr has now spoken publicly about it for the first time, offering her support to both of them.
The Australian supermodel, now 42, was married to Bloom from 2010 to 2013. Even after their divorce, they stayed close for the sake of their son Flynn, who is now 14. Bloom later began dating Katy Perry in 2016, and the two confirmed their romance when they appeared together at a high-profile red-carpet event.
Their relationship had ups and downs – they broke up in 2017 but reunited a year later. In February 2019, Bloom proposed on Valentine’s Day with a spectacular four-carat diamond ring. Despite years together, they never made it down the aisle, and by June it was confirmed that they had ended their relationship after nearly a decade.
Reports suggested the couple had not been living together since April, when Perry set off on her world tour. They share a daughter, five-year-old Daisy, who remains their main focus.
Speaking about the situation, Miranda explained that there is no bad blood between Bloom and Perry. “Yes, it was mutual. I actually saw them both recently when we celebrated Daisy’s birthday together. We really are one big happy family. Katy is wonderful, I adore her and of course I love Orlando too,” she said warmly.
