After a manhunt for the assassin, the FBI has kept releasing information on Charlie Kirk’s accused shooter.
Much of America was shocked when Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10 while giving a speech at Utah Valley University.
On social media, videos of Kirk being shot and killed after just one gunshot was fired have also gone viral.
Two people of interest were detained at the time, but authorities do not think they are the gunman. They later stated that they had “no current ties” to the incident and that the shooter is still at large.

On its Twitter page, the FBI has been sharing updates on the Charlie Kirk shooter’s progress.
The FBI posted a picture of a person of interest yesterday, September 11, and asked anyone who knows who they are or has seen them to contact the FBI.
The post read: “We are asking for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.”
“1-800-CALL-FBI,” the agency added, for anyone with information.
They provided additional information on the gunman and his actions following the gunfire that killed Kirk in a follow-up post on the social media website.
The post read, “The FBI is releasing video of the shooter who murdered Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Following the shooting, the individual jumps from a rooftop and runs away from the location.”
“Trace evidence collected from the rooftop includes shoe impressions, a forearm imprint, and a palm print. The shooter’s weapon and ammunition were recovered from a wooded area near the university.”
The video showed the alleged shooter leaping from a campus structure and running away.
Furthermore, further photos of the “person of interest” that the agency is attempting to track down in relation to the shooting have been made public.
A $100,000 reward has also been offered for any information that results in an arrest in this instance.
The FBI made it apparent that they thought they had good footage of the alleged shooter just before the video and new photos were made public.
Authorities obtained ‘excellent footage’ of the shooter, Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason said at a press conference on September 11.
Although Mason promised that they would seek the public’s assistance if necessary, he stated that officials were “working through some technologies and some ways to identify this individual.”

Additionally, the FBI has requested that local residents review doorbell camera footage and report any suspicious activity to the agency.
